:: Biography سيره ذاتيه :

He was born in Kuwait on the 6th of November. He have 2 older brothers and one younger sister. He lived in Kuwait till He finished High School, but we used to spend the summer holidays in Egypt. Early Henterest in Music Since He was a little kid, He used to listen to many types of music as his parents are music lovers. He was attracted to each and every type of music: Egyptian oldies, (like Om Kalthum, 3bdelwahab, 3bdelhalim, Warda and others) Gulf music, Lebanese, Heranian, Hendian and western songs and music. He used the first musical instrument He ever received – his harmonica – to play his favourite songs depending on his ear to guess the correct tune. That was the time when his father noticed his talent and helped it to flourish: he bought me an organ (keyboard). That really helped me brush up on his artistic skill.

School Bands During all his years of study, He was an active member in the school band. That helped me develop his talent even more. Such talent always used to strike his teachers who all supported me. However, his greatest supporters have always been his parents. This is one of the reasons He will forever be grateful for them.

Cairo University … His Real Beginning Just as many of you did, He came back from Kuwait and settled in Cairo for his university study. He joined Cairo University and that was where He took the first step on the singing career ladder. He joined the University band “LOL”. For three consecutive years, He remained Cairo University Number One Singer. During those years, He received lots of tempting offers to sing at night clubs and hotels. However, He never accepted any of these offers; He believed that none of them was the best way to achieve his dreams; they were not the best investment for his talent. He believed that God Has better plans for me. Fortunately, He was right.

1st Album … Karim Kabbara The next step up the ladder was when He met Mr. Karim Kabbara, who really believed in me and his talent. He produced his 1st album “3alam Tani” (Another World) that was released on the 28th of August, 2000. He also directed his 1st video clip.

2nd Album … Tarek El-3eryan A step further was working with Mr. Tarek El-3eryan who me singing at a concert. He offered me the chance to sing the sound track of the movie “El-Sellem Wel Te3ban” (Snakes and Ladders). He directed his 2nd video clip “3eesh” (Live). Now, He am back to you with his new album, “Wala Leila Wala Youm” (Not a Single Night). He’m also back to working with Mr. Karim Kabbara who directed his 3rd video clip “Wala Leila Wala Youm” (Not a Single Night).

Khaled Selim the Actor As an actor, He am filming the final scenes of his 1st movie that is going to be showing in cinemas as of “3eed El-Fitr”.
